Privacy Policy

Collection Value Tracker ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. Your Inventory Data
- Your item records, photos, proof documents, receipts, appraisals, serial numbers, notes, tags, valuation history, reminders, and reports are stored locally on your device.
- The App does not require an account or a cloud database for the core inventory workflow.
- We do not operate a server that stores your valuables inventory, proof documents, item photos, or valuation records.
- If you export or share a PDF, CSV, image, or document through iOS sharing, you control where that file goes. We do not receive a copy.
2. Data Stored Locally
- Collection and item records: Names, categories, brands, models, serial numbers, condition, grade, purchase cost, current value, storage location, notes, tags, and timestamps.
- Proof documents: Receipt, appraisal, certificate, warranty, and listing screenshot metadata, plus files you attach.
- OCR results: Text extracted from proof images or documents after you review and confirm it.
- Preferences: Theme, default currency, app lock setting, notification preferences, and feature settings.
- Usage limits: Local counters used to enforce free-tier item, collection, OCR, photo, report, and reminder limits.
- Purchase status: Subscription state is managed by Apple's StoreKit and cached locally for feature access.
3. Permissions We Request
- Camera: Used when you capture item photos, proof photos, receipts, appraisals, serial numbers, or barcodes.
- Photo Library: Used only when you choose photos or documents to attach to an item.
- Files / iCloud Drive: Used only for files you explicitly import or export.
- Face ID / device passcode: Used for optional App Lock. Biometric data is handled by iOS and is not available to us.
- Notifications: Optional reminders for appraisal refreshes, insurance renewals, warranty expiry, and proof reviews.
4. OCR and Scanning
The App uses Apple's on-device Vision and VisionKit frameworks for OCR and scanning. Extracted text is shown for confirmation before saving. OCR data is not sent to Bulpara servers.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit: Manages subscriptions and purchases. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob (free tier only): Displays ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data under Google's Privacy Policy. Your inventory data, proof documents, photos, receipts, appraisals, and reports are not shared with AdMob.
Premium subscribers see no ads and do not trigger AdMob ad requests from the App.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your inventory records, photos, proof documents, serial numbers, receipts, appraisals, OCR text, values, notes, or reports with third parties. AdMob may process device-level advertising data for free-tier ads only.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete individual items, proof documents, photos, reports, and activity records inside the App. You can delete all local App data by deleting the App from your device. Exported files you saved or shared outside the App must be deleted wherever you stored them.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is not intended to collect personal data from children under 13. The App's core design stores user content locally rather than collecting it on Bulpara servers.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
